It All Started with a Label-Free Bottle

Dear friend,

Welcome — I’m so glad you’re here.

Nine years ago, I attended a meditation retreat at a Zen temple in Jiangxi Province, China.

I had forgotten to bring my own shampoo and body wash, so I shared a bottle with my roommate — a quiet and generous woman.

The bottle had no label. It smelled faintly of Chinese herbs — nothing overpowering, just a soft, earthy scent.

To my surprise, it worked beautifully.

After washing my hair, my scalp felt incredibly clear and refreshed. After bathing, my whole body felt clean and deeply comfortable — like a reset.

Turns out, my roommate was a Daoist nun.

She told me the wash was made at her temple, using herbs that they boil themselves — like making a healing soup. The recipe, she said, was passed down orally  from her master’s master’s master — generation after generation.

At that moment, something clicked.I had never imagined shampoo could be made like this —simple, honest, natural.

That’s where this journey began.Looking back, it feels magical.

Before we started making shampoo, we ran a small wellness studio focused on moxibustion therapy —a traditional Chinese method that uses mugwort to support the body’s natural energy and healing.

If you’ve ever used moxa, you know the quality matters.

Most of what’s out there burns unevenly, smells harsh, and lacks purity. That’s why we started making our own —high-quality moxa sticks with a smooth, clean burn.

We also began teaching our customers how to use moxa at hom for wellness and beauty in daily life.

Because of our years of meditation and wellness practice, we’ve become especially sensitive to what we put on our skin.

We react strongly to synthetic fragrances and chemicals —the way they block pores, disrupt balance, and dull the senses. But on the flip side, we’re also quick to notice
how gentle, natural ingredients can truly nourish and bring the body back into harmony.

That’s why we only use ingredients we personally trust, and why many of our wellness center clients kept asking to buy the skincare products we used.

Our business doesn’t run on flashy ads or big marketing campaigns.Instead, we focus on small-batch, low-waste production. We make just enough to meet real needs — no overproduction, no gimmicks.

This lets us keep the quality high, prices fair, and only offer products to people who truly need and appreciate them.

You may not have seen us everywhere online, but if you’re here now — maybe you tried our products, or maybe a friend told you about us — then that means something real.

Thank you for reading this far,for stepping into our little world, and for trying a shampoo that was once just a homemade herbal brew in a temple.

We’re honored to share nature’s gifts with you, to pass on a bit of timeless wisdom from the East, and to walk together toward a healthier, more grounded way of living.

Warmly,
The Founder
